So when you’re hiring a real estate agent, you’re actually hiring a marketing specialist, not just someone that puts it on the MLS and fills in the blanks on Agreement of Sale. Anybody can do that.
That is of no use to you if they can’t find a buyer willing to pay a premium fee for you to sell your home.
The sad part about hiring a typical real estate agent is the only way a buyer buys your home is if it’s the absolute best value compared to all of the other homes in the same price range, which means you need to be priced under them.
That’s a bad way to go.
You don’t want to beat the competition by pricing under them.
The only way the buyer will buy your home is if they can’t find anything else that’s a lower price.
